Vehicle restoration 1979 Land Rover Series 3 SWB 2.25 petrol

This restoration was based on a customers Land Rover who wanted it made sound for years to come and more usable as a day to day vehicle, and was fitted with some desirable extras.

Specification included:

	Galvanised chassis
	Galvanised bulkhead
	Over-drive
	Power steering
	Satellite Navigation system with touch screen monitor
	Parabolic springs
	Re-spray in Bronze Green
	Interior fitted with soundproof rubber matting throughout, high back cloth seats front and rear and front centre cubby box

As it arrived to us with terrible paintwork and rotten bulkhead/chassis

Stripped down to old chassis full of rust

Rebuilt with new galvanised chassis and new galvanised bulkhead

Power steering fitted using engine driven pump on hydraulic ram arm onto axle making steering easy

Bespoke Sat-Nav head unit pod we made in house from sheet steel, this was a tricky job as there is a great deal of wiring and a Series 3 dash is a small space to slot it into neatly. The pod was then trimmed in leatherette before fitting.

Sat-Nav fitted neatly blending into the original dash board.
