LAND ROVER RESTORATIONS From this: To This:
We can restore your own Land Rover or chose a vehicle from our stock of donor vehicles ranging from the 1950's onwards. Here are a small selection from the many we do each year, click to see dozens of pictures and information about each restoration.
The restoration process At Churchill Land Rover our fully restored vehicles undergo the following process in our facilities: Chassis: All vehicles received a complete new galvanised chassis unless otherwise requested. Bulkhead: Bulkhead is restored with new sections welded in before being galvanised or if beyond repair a complete brand new galvanised bulkhead is fitted. Mechanical & Electrical: All mechanical and electrical components are checked by our experienced mechanics who assess the condition of the components. After inspection they are replaced with new or reconditioned parts as necessary. Again this ensures reliability and extended life. Interior: Restored Land Rover's are fitted with new seats, carpets and door trims where applicable. We keep to original specification trim, this means either vinyl seats or cloth seats if specified. Carpets when fitted are also under-laid with soundproofing to reduce noise levels. All work is undertaken to ensure the vehicle is in keeping with its original specification. Bodywork: The bodywork is inspected by us and new panels are used where necessary. The bodywork is then stripped to separate parts, stripped to bare metal, prepared and sprayed by us. This is done in the original colour of the vehicle unless otherwise requested. Again we try to keep vehicles as original as possible, for example the galvanised body capping's are re-galvanised rather than painted. Warranty: All fully refurbished vehicles have a minimum 12 months parts and labour warranty provided by ourselves. Please phone for more details, or see warranty information page. Customer requests: If you wish for alterations to the above specification this can be done in advance if you wish to inspect the vehicle before the process begins then the final specification can be matched to your requirements.
